We are very sad to report that one of our newest board members, Dr. Allison Rose of the Grady Hospital NICU and Emory University, has died. She was a beloved physician and staunch advocate for infants and families in the NICU. If you would like to make a donation in her memory, please click here.

Some of our most vulnerable children are those in the neonatal ICU. Lukas’ Fund was established in 2002 in memory of Lukas Bierema Ebell, who spent his entire life in the NICU at Athens Regional and Grady Memorial Hospitals. We exist to help meet the needs of these infants and their families by working closely with NICU staff to identify priorities that they are unable to fund.
